In recent years, it has become popular to grant drag-along rights to senior lenders that will, upon enforcement of the pledge over shares in the borrower, entitle the senior lenders to require subordinated lenders to mandatorily sell their subordinated loans to whomever the senior lender designates, including the new purchaser of the shares through the enforcement, which can result in facilitating the sale of the shares in the borrower.
