My client's predecessor in title entered into a written agreement with a neighbouring landowner for access to the predecessor in title's land. The Agreement was not time limited and did not refer to successors in title. My client has owned the land for over 30 years and has relied on the terms of the agreement for access. Can it continue to do so if this right is challenged or could it be argued to be only between the signatories to it? (Practical Law)

It would appear that the RSPB put a recording device on private land without the knowledge or permission of the landowner.
