In Hartford Fire Insurance Co. v. California, the Supreme Court acknowledged the possibility of declin­ing jurisdiction “under the principle of international comity” if the con­duct prohibited by U.S. antitrust law were required by the law of another nation, although the Court found no such conflict in Hartford.
